About the position

We are seeking a Survey CAD Technician for a full-time in-office position within our Survey department in Apex, NC. The individual in this role will focus on converting field survey data into precise drawings and maps using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. In this position, the technician works under close supervision to create basic survey drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and project specifications. Individuals in this role will collaborate with other team members, contributing to the overall success of the survey projects. 

Requirements:

• 2-5 years Civil 3D Experience preferred.
• 2-5 years Land Survey experience or basic knowledge of field tasks.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer is required.
• Strong commitment to learning and developing in a fast-paced environment.
• A willingness to read construction plans, procedures and perform field calcs, a basic understanding is required for advancement.
• Basic understanding of survey drafting practices within one survey domain. 
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay:

$20 - $36 per hour depending upon experience
